Note 34

Vipstanus Mosalla appears to have written a memoir of this campaign. The Elder Pliny composed a history in thirty-one books, now lost, dealing with part or all of Nero's reign, the year 69, and part of the reign of Vespasian. It was published posthumously in A.D. 79, and is probably Tacitus' main source. It was no doubt pro-Flavian.
