Of whom we shall hear much more, down to his sad death on the 14th of Feb. 1712. (See p. 321.) He was born in 1685, and was now fresh from Oxford. Recommended to Swift by Addison, he was soon, by Swift's interest, to obtain what ought to have been lucrative employment. Some of his poems appear in the collections of the day.
