Epigrams
Note from 'Life of Savage' by Samuel Johnson

Johnson prints in a footnote Savage's cruel epigram, believing it yet unpublished. Hill reprints it (II, 362), noting that it had appeared in Gent. Mag., 1731, p. 306, slightly varied, and again in Washington's edition of Pope. Tracy does not include it in his edition of Savage's Poetry, though he gives another, on p. 182.
